Is this available on the business account? Was told it was so I registered 5 lines. 4 days later not available on my rogers or app.

Being able to manage your data is definitely a helpful feature!
What type of business account do you have? Corporate plan? or Company plan?
The availability varies depending on the account type.

Hello @tekguy,
I know how important it is to be able to manage your data effectively across all your devices to avoid incurring data overage fees.
At the moment the Data Manager functionality is only available for Residential customers. Business customers can go online to view their data usage via the Business Self Serve portal. I am hoping in the future that this functionality will be built into the Business Self Serve portal as it is a really handy tool!
As of now, we have not been made aware of any dates but once there is news available we will keep you posted.

Hi, I was also told by a Business Care specialist that I could manage the data online for all lines associated to my account. I have since learned this is not available and today was instructed that I could download a Data Manager app (non-Rogers) to all phones to monitor and be alerted to the usage. This isn't what we want. As account owners, small or large business we would like to be able to manage the data and cap it if necessary.
Also, the Rogers Data Alert text is sent to all lines when the shared data reaches an overage state and all lines are given the option to reply "Go" to restore data access. Really, the owner or account manager should be the only one to have the ability to restore or increase data availability.
Finally, I was told on chat today that work is being done to make a Data Manager available to Small Business accounts. Please let us know if this will be coming soon.

I know Data Manager is a great feature to ensure there are no overages on the account. If/when Data Manager becomes available we will definitely update the Community.

OK - thanks for your reply. It would be very helpful if you offered this service for business customers - the same way it is offered for residential customers. This is an important function.

How long will Rogers hold out on offering this service. If you can offer it to standard user accounts you can certainly figure it out for Business accounts. Let's facet. we pay your bills.

It has certainly been a while - but it doesn't seem like there is a huge rush for Rogers on this issue. That being said, I've tried logging onto the Small Business website over the past few weeks and only seen a notice that "the information you're looking for is temporarily unavailable", so I guess they are working on bigger issues - such as just getting the website running. Very frustrating.

Any updates on this? - same here was assured that we can manage data allocation, but now that we have signed up - being told that only consumer plans have them.
