I recently subscribed to Sportsnet directly after several years of accessing Sportsnet through my TV provider. Since subscribing I've been unable to stream sportsnet without constant errors on any of my android devices. The error is "We are unable to detect your account:Error 10". After several days of back and forth exchanges with Sportsnet tech support and various attempted "fixes" the issue persists. This is only on my android devices - I have no issues streaming Sportsnet using Google Chrome on Windows 10.
I came across this Rogers reference to "linking": "If you have used your email before for any Rogers Media property, including Sportsnet.ca, or had a Sportsnet+ account in the past, or used your email with another brand you may have an account for your email already. I have had a Rogers home internet account for several years. I used the same email address when I subscribed to Sportsnet a few days ago as my Rogers internet account but different passwords. Could this be the reason I'm having constant errors when attempting to watch Sportsnet?
