TV over 5G service (probably 4G in the area)

jayrabbit
I'm here a lot

I have a cottage between Madoc and Bancroft and your coverage map says there's 5G service there but from someone I know that uses their phone when they stay at our place, it's more likely 4G. Is that Internet service sufficient to watch Xfinity Streaming App TV? I'd like to be able to watch TV off an Amazon Fire Stick. I also subscribe to Netflix and Prime Video. It's just on a 720p TV for there though - nothing fancy.

Their device light not support the band that 5G is deployed on. Most devices will not sit on 5G in areas where bandwidth is limited.

4G is plenty fast for streaming. 20Mbit is optimal for high quality streaming, where 4G is easily capable of that. Rural areas might be a bit more congested at peak times though.
