In regards to Bridge mode, can someone instruct me on how to do this maunally

@Hollee2011 the instructions to switch to bridge mode can be found here:

For the Black or white Hitrom modems, to switch back to Gateway mode, log into the modem using 192.168.100.1   Navigate to the same page to re-enable the Residential Gateway Function.  Save the setting and the modem will reboot back into Gateway modem with its previous settings intact.  

 

I suspect that the Arris XB6 modem has the same procedure to switch back to Gateway mode.
