What is WMM mode? should I enable or disable it?

I have Hitron CGN2-ROG. Under modem settings (wireless tab) I have noticed an option for WMM mode. What is it? and Should I enable it or disable it?

Is a form of QoS (quality of service)

 

It prioritises packets for things like vioce, video, etc (anything multimedia)

can i disable the wmm (qos ) on the cgnsacsmr ? do i realy need that on ?

it does't hurt to leave it on, so no need to disable it. If you have a specific reason to disable it then you can, but if you don't know what it does then leave it alone

WMM by default is enabled and should stay enabled.  Here is some interesting reading about it:
