Theperson I spoke to in billing put a note on my file. Someone "on behalf of Rogers" calls pretty much every month to ask if I'm happy with my services. It's annoying, but usually a short call.
And once again I'm being charged for overusage. I'm about to disconnect this stupid thing.
Has anyone here run speed tests after having the Whitebox installed?
I'm on the Unlimited Ultimate 150/10 package and noticed from July that I was only getting maximum of 50mbps download (on a good day using a hardwired connection). After doing the basic and advanced tests with Rogers, the fault was traced to the Whitebox and SamKnows sent me a new one. After testing the new one, identical slow speed results. Using the Rogers modem only gives me the speeds I'm paying for e.g. 150-210 mbps.
SamKnows is baffled and instead of fixing the problem, recommend that I leave the program. They are also unwilling to contact other testers and suggest I contact testers myself.
So...anyone see lower speeds passing through the Whitebox vs going direct?
I just ran that test and got a download speed of 4.32 Mbps and an upload speed of 0.28 Mbps. I have no idea if this is good or not.
