Replacement for tech supplied RG6 coax

When the tech set up my new serivce (ignite 60) he discarded the existing coax that was plugged into the wall and replaced it with what he claimed was a better quality cable, due to the shielding and better dB rating.

I needed to re-arrange the living area and move the modem (which is currently hidden behind a couch); so I'm looking for a replacement cable ~40 ft.

The cable he supplied is only about 3ft long and unfortunately has no text on it due to its length. All i know is that it has an ex6 connector.

Most stores only seem to have cheap looking GE coax with rubber connectors.
Any suggestions on what specs I need and where I can buy a replacement for this cable?
Are there any electronics stores that custom build coax cables for you around the GTA?

Thanks

Re: Replacement for tech supplied RG6 coax

Forgot to mention...

Running a 40ft cat-5/6 isn't an option because I'm moving the couch away from the wall with the coax plate.

Since the wall will be exposed, I don't want the modem sitting there on the floor all by itself.

Re: Replacement for tech supplied RG6 coax

@qazqwerty you can probably find RG-6 cable at Lowes, Home Depot, Bestbuy, etc.

You might want to look for a 90 degree connector as well to connect the wall plate to the cable.  That will keep the cable next to the wall if that is an issue at all.
