I can not connect to Bank of China international:
I can connect no problem with my mobile phone which is Koodo.
Anyone else having similar problem?
I find it also difficult to connect to https://mybank.icbc.com.cn, although occasionally it works.
I just tried at work, which is a Bell business line, and while it did eventually come up, it did take quite a while, before even the page started to load.
Makes me think its more an DNS issue.. that it took a bunch of time to test the different DNS servers we use here before it could actually resolve it.
Which then could be the same with rogers. That their DNS server doesnt have the right entry for the site.
(this wouldnt be the first time overall I have seen this with some sites from China.. seems like their DNS entries dont propagate to worldwide lists as quickly sometimes)
After changing my IP address (external IP), I can now login to those sites. This is strange, could it be that someone hacked my router and intercept my access to those bank websites? I have tightened my firewall and enabled AIProtection on my Asus router. Now I am seeing 5-6 emails from my router of the suspicious activities that were blocked.
