New "Cable Haunt" Vulnerability

How worried should we be about this new vulnerability? Has anyone heard if Rogers is on this?

Did you know that Broadcom had a fix last May and the cable companies have not fixed the problem.

All cable modems need to be re-flashed with new firmware

And here I was thinking that by "renting" my modem from Rogers, they would stay on top of updates and security vulnerabilities of the hardware I'm renting from them. I guess not.
