Having trouble turning band steering on.

hello, 

I would like to turn Bandsteering on for the Ignite WiFi Gateway modem but I failed.
I've tried two ways, the first was accessing gateway 10.0.0.1 but this was my first time to login, default password was not correct(tried resetting the modem, but no luck).

the other was editing WiFi settings thru the home ignite app.

Unfortunately, I could not find "Use different names and passwords for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi".
the only one parameter I can turn on/off is "Broadcast WiFi name".

is there any idea? thanks!

Bandsteering is enabled by default on the Ignite WiFi Gateway modem. When you're in "Edit WiFi settings" you should see a toggle button next to Split bands (not recommended). You can toggle it on to complete your request.
