Can't get email through macbook mail - fortunately can get it through rogers.yahoo. Any updates? I see a lot of people have the same issue.

Not sure if it works for mac users, but I edited my login in name on my computer, and on my wife's computer by adding @rogers.com to our user names and now both emails work fine. Originally our user names only had our names without the @rogers.com

Worked for me too. I am using Outlook 2010 (about to switch to Outlook 2016). Go to File, accounting settings. Double click on your email account (i.e. name@rogers.com). Under "Logon information", where it says user name, add @rogers.com after your name. Click Next, a test email will be sent, click Close and Finish.

Adding @rogers.com to my username worked for me. It's a pain to change on my phone though becuse I had to remove the account and add it back in. It wouldn't allow me to just edit the username. Oh well... 7 more accounts to do.

Adding @rogers.com worked here as well. A good work around for now. Suprised Rogers is taking this long to address a cert issue. If that's indeed what it is? We should know soon...

I had to change all my email accoun names in Eudora and Windows Mail 2012 by adding @rogers.com to the end of the account name. Now everything works again

Adding the @rogers.com worked with my Outlook 2013 accounts but still can't get my Android phone to work with POP3. It already had the correct user name.

Try adding @rogers.com to your home computer's email account user name and to your wife's email account user name. Worked for me. You will probably find on your apple products that your user name already ends with @rogers.com.

Not sure why this is changing in your POP clients, may microsoft did it. User name has always been "sample@rogers.com".

So what is Rogers doing about this? I can no longer use outlook to receive and send my email and have to log in to the webmail. Such a pain!!

No MS didn't do anything as it happened in non-MS apps also. While username may have always been sample@rogers.com, the mail servers for quite some time (years) would accept "sample". Hence all the post about not being able to login. Obviously the missed expired certificate and the fix has now got the servers looking for the full email name.

Check your Outlook account settings and make sure your username is user@rogers.com. Up until today the servers would accept just "user"

Mine has always been that way user@rogers.com in Outlook, but I have no Certificate issues today so far. I also have 4 different user@rogers.com email addresses in Outlook 2016.

1. What is a POP certificate?
2. How did this happen?
