Good afternoon,
I do security research via malware analysis and etc. I have setup a Honeypot on my home network to detect port scans and etc which works fine. But when I was trying to setup a port 445 SMB honeypot, to catch live malware I.E ransomware. When I forwarded the 445 port to my Virtual machine honeypot and tried to scan to see if it was working, I did not get a response from that port, I have tried everything I could think of.. but no response to that port, and now I'm thinking that Rogers blocks port 445, Which I could understand so things like ransomware can't spread on the network. If anyone could verify that port 445 is blocked on the Rogers network that would be great.
Thanks

Hello @kernel232,
I have a CODA-4582 and can confirm that port 445 is blocked by the firewall on the device. I have not tested opening the port.
