Wondering if anyone can tell me where to go next. I have had ignite for about 5 months now and everything randomly disconnects of 1 min and then its back. And recently when this happens my speeds go nuts. I have 150 down and 15 up but when I do speeds tests I get 5 to 7 up and 430 down. I have contacted support and just keep getting run around. I have had all the lines in the house and to the pole replaced. I have been told I need a firmware update. I have been told it's the distribution box on my street. I have been told maintenance needs to look at this. I have been told my line is being monitored and it's been a month since I was told that. My nest cameras and security cannot run on 5-7 meg upload that is my main concern. So talking to first line support has gotten me nowhere. How do I escalate this to the next level?

Check out the following 86 page thread on the topic of internet dropping. Read the last few pages about possible solutions by having settings in the modem changed.

Hi,
I have 1Gb/30Mb plan which has been working great for about a year. Regular 900Mb down and upload was pegged at 30Mb.
Over the last two weeks, having some issues. Download may range 300 to 850, but upload has really suffered...3 to 15Mb up, which actually causes, I am assuming lots of lost packets (5 to 10%) and lag in gaming and drop outs in voice/video calls. I have reset the modem, called tech support a few times, modem was replaced as well. XB6 Technicolor. I make sure to not be in bridge mode and reset each time to troubleshoot with Rogers. On one of the calls, they said they had complaints from others in my floor of the apartment building. Tickets were closed twice saying no issue. Last time when the tech replaced my modem, did say may be an issue in the area and will have someone check. That was 5 days ago, with no updates and no improvements in speed. Before calling again, thought I would check here.
This is what I see in my Rogers Network readout:

I didnt post the CM Error Codewords but can if it helps.
Don't know why there is a jump from 24 to 33 on the downstream channels. Doesnt show 25 to 32.
Downstream SNR also is below 38, which doesnt seem good according to the troubleshooting post: https://communityforums.rogers.com/t5/Internet-Knowledge-Base/Troubleshooting-a-Slow-or-Intermittent...
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Saw three trucks outside the apartment today. then left...then showed up near some houses next street over. Total around for about 3 hours...lots of disconnects/reconnect....but seems the issue is resolved. Thanks techs! in the snow too.
870 to 900Mb down, full 30 up. Will keep an eye for a few days.
Only wish I knew what the problem was, even if outside the house and technical 😛

I have been having issue with my home internet. (package 500/20, ignite) I am getting roughly 1-2 mbs upload speed on my pc on ethernet connection (180 mbps down, 1-2 mbs up) and wifi (500 down 1-2mbps up). My pc supports a gig ethernet and i have recently bought a cat.6 ethernet cable as well. (At randomly, i get the full speed sometime around 4am and last for 10mins and go down to 1-2 mbps upload speed) I have escalated the issue for the past 1-2 yrs and I was recently informed that there has never been a report regarding the maintenance issue! what a surprise! I have been contacting the support team over and over. Whenever and how many times I contact them, they always ask me to restart the modem. (already swapped the modem several time!
Please help me out!

Hi guys,
I used to be getting ~ 30 Mbps upload but I found over the last few weeks my top upload speed during the days is 5 - 10 Mbps up max with constant drops.
Also while I'm on a gigabit plan I've found the max download speed I've been seeing is about 300 Mpbs. Where I was once seeing about ~ 750 down.
I've had techs out in the past (months ago) when I encountered similar issues and they were able to resolve the issue most at the box. Any advice would be welcome as I'm currently unable to stream with the uploads being so inconsistent I've just been getting non-stop dropped frames well over 50% due to network.
Attached are my DOCIS stats:
