I'm reaching out to the Rogers Shaw Forum as a last resort after six months of agonizingly slow and unreliable internet service. The culprit? Ancient, 20-year-old wiring in my neighbourhood that Rogers has neglected to upgrade.
The issue persists despite three technician visits and countless hours on the phone with customer support. The signal from the wiring in the back alley is so weak that technicians resorted to running a flimsy, exposed wire to my house – a "temporary" fix that's been repeatedly damaged by vehicles and weather.
This ongoing problem has severely impacted my ability to work from home, causing missed deadlines and lost productivity. Rogers boasts a satisfaction guarantee, yet I've received temporary band-aids and a paltry one-time credit of $140. Where is this "satisfaction guarantee" when I need it?
I'm at my wit's end. Will anyone at Rogers listen and take real action? Is replacing the archaic wiring in Canyon Meadows a priority? Or will I be forced to endure this subpar service indefinitely?
