I see there is an option to prioritize your recordings just not entirely sure what the means or what is the point to prioritize them?

Hello and welcome to the Rogers Community Forums @aries19ca,
As you may be aware you're able to record up to eight programs in your home simultaneously. If there’s a scheduling conflict, the recording with the highest priority is recorded.
Please review our Knowledge Base article Prioritize Scheduled Recordings on Ignite TV to know the steps on how to do so.
Additionally, please review our Managing Ignite TV Recordings under the Help & Support page for more information.

This option may be from a time or from hardware/firmware that didn't allow for 8 recordings at the same time (say only 2, 4, 6). Although it's pretty unlikely that someone will schedule 9 recordings during the same block of time, but it could happen, so you have the option to prioritize which programmes are recorded. Also, when you schedule your series recordings, there may not be a conflict at that time (of scheduling), but there could be a conflict in the future if a programme airing time changes.
