Polk Soundbar shuts off with Ignite remote

Every once in a while when I power off my tv using the Ignite remote, my Polk soundbar shuts off instead and the tv remains on. I then hit the power button again and the tv shuts off. Any suggestions as to what’s happening and how to fix.
