Just over a month ago, I noticed that if I try to Record All Episodes of a new show,
I get the following message "Currently, Internet content isn't recordable"
But I can record "Just this episode" for the same shows.
It doesn't matter the channel or show.
I have definitely seen this before but not very often. I just successfully scheduled a recording for all new episodes of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" on Global, and that worked fine.
I think that the "Currently, Internet content isn't recordable" message is a result of how the Guide data was set up for the episode. I have also seen things like Ignite TV only recording the first hour of a six-hour recording, also likely due to erroneous Guide metadata.
Any ideas?
The next time that you see this happening, contact support, either by telephone or by sending a private message to @CommunityHelps . Let them know the program, channel and timeslot where you tried to schedule the recording and saw that message pop up. The first-level support agent won't have any ability to troubleshoot this so, if you can, try to contact support during normal business hours; they may be able to get a senior specialist behind the scenes to look into the problem immediately before it goes away.
