Incorrect TV guide on Ignite TV

I am a subscriber of Ignite TV locates in Richmond Hill, Ontario.

The guide of Channel 36 and 750 (Fairchild TV) are displaying Vancouver schedule, not Toronto schedule.  Please help to fix it.

thanks

Re: Ignite TV Guide/Images

I want to know if it's the same channel with Ignite TV or if new channels will be added.

I would love to replace my Bell Express vu TV package for Rogers Ignite TV.

However I need RDS2HD in french as well InvestigationHD in french, will we finally get these 2 channels so I can swap all my services with Rogers?

Re: Ignite TV Guide/Images

I just checked in the Guide, and cannot find these channels you are interested in, in the French section. They have RDS1 and TVA sports 1 and 2.

Re: Ignite TV Guide/Images

Hi Gdkitty and others,

The guide in the first post says that boxes with each episode show up if I select a show within the recordings section which I have recorded multiple episodes of. But how do I select one to tell it which episode I want to watch? It's only allowing me to watch the most recent recording for a show I've been recording over the past week. I want to start from the first one and make my way up. I can't seem to get it to let me do that while using the iOS app either. It just automatically starts playing the most recent episode.

Never mind, I figured it out, apparently my box was acting up a little. Sorry for the double post, but now what I can't figure out how to do is edit or delete my other post. Not having a good tech day lol.

Hi Gdkitty,

I finally bit the bullet and ordered Ignite TV.  Can I ask you a couple of questions?

1.  Do you still like it?

2.  Does Netflix work in 4K on the ignite box? I already have the 4k package for my smart TV.

3.  Can you turn the TV off/on with the ignite remote?

I asked my concierge but he didn't know questions 2 and 3.

Thanks!

Yes.  Click the setup tab in the following link and follow the instructions:

1: Yes I still like it.  There are still some bugs, I get mostly with some playback of recorded (but its not consistent), once in a blue moon hangups, etc.   But no more than issues with cable I would say.
And the box generally works much better than the cable boxes.

2: That I could not tell you.  I dont have a 4k TV.  The box is capable of 4k.. but if the app is, or that netflix detects that its 4k capable, etc.

3: Oh yeah, you can totally turn the TV on/off with the remote.  In general I would say better than the others at least in terms of setting up.  When my boxes were set up, during the boxes initial setup, goes through the step to set up with the TV.  Literally didnt have to do anything.  I am guessing via the HDMI is able to see what the TV is, it knew that brand, etc it was to auto add the code.

Re: Ignite TV Guide/Images

Thanks for the quick reply! I noticed I can now use the app on my devices, even before my install date. I like all the thumbnails for picking stuff quicker. I hope that it works great as it's being installed on Superbowl Morning. Yikes!
