I have had terrible wifi issues with my Ignite tv. Always freezes and cuts out. The old style cable boxes never had these issues. I have called into your service techs with no luck resolving the issue. I am sitting here watching a black screen. No picture. I need a technician to come to my home to resolve this issue or take it away. My ignite gateway is on the same level approximately 30 ft from from the tv box. Rebooted numerous times with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@jayfan59 you might not have a wifi issue. Have a look at the following thread which indicates that other users are experiencing black screens as well:
My guess is that there's more to this than a potential wifi problem. Its time for Rogers engineers to start collecting data to determine what's driving this. Sluffing this off to tech support or the moderators in the forum isn't going to cut it.
Rogers needs to step up and resolve these reoccurring issues with their clients. We shouldn’t have to troubleshoot their product. My wifi signal is fine (averages 450 Mbps).I have 2 ignite boxes. I switched the box that cuts out with our other box with no issues and the problem went away. Strange that Rogers tech wouldn’t suggest that. I’ve had multiple tech on the phone and at my home trying to resolve the issue. They felt it was a wifi issue. I asked if it is possible that I have a faulty tv box. They felt it to be a wifi issue and kind of ignored my suggestion. I am going to exchange this box tomorrow and hope for the best.
