Anyone else notice the colours looking muted when accessing Disney+ from the Ignite App vs using other devices? Does the Ignite receiver have a more limited colour pallet compared to other devices? I use the same colour profile for everything on my Smart TV so that’s not the issue.

@senordd Seems okay on my TVs. I played some scenes from Star Wars on my iPhone and a Sony LCD TV and the colours did not appear washed out to me.

I checked again and it looks like just the menu's colours are off, but when you play the video it's fine. The menu has that faded look of when you play something with HDR on a non HDR monitor. Perhaps they used the wrong colour profile for the menu?

@senordd The Disney+ menu/main screen looks fine to me as well. I also verified the calibration of my TV with the Ignite TV boxes using "Test Patterns" on Netflix and filters from Avia and Digital Video Essentials.

Weird. Oh well, I never use any of the Ignite TV apps anyway and just go to the ones on my smart TV.

I'm not sure what the underlying problem could be or why it would only affect the menus on the Disney+ app.
Others have reported weird colour-related issues with some TVs but as far as I know, those tend to affect the output of all content from the Ignite TV box. Those problems are also usually fixed with a firmware update, either on the TV or the set-top box.
Which make/model TV do you see the problem on? Do you have any other TVs and do you see the same problem on those?

I have not noticed the Disney+ App colors being off, but my son noticed the YouTube App menu colors are off on our Sharp-Roku. I can see it too. Like the red is washed out red.
One thing I noticed about the Disney+ Rogers App is that almost every time we watch an episode of the Simpsons, there is often a bad video glitch.
The plus side of Disney+ app is that it streams 4K better than the Rogers 4K channels. Every time they do a wide pan (which is a lot) it drops a bunch of frames and looks jerky.
