I agree, having the page up/down buttons which did it.. more people would associate with it.
But with these units, your limited to the remotes, which work with the technology.. and for whatever reason the manufacturer didnt put those sorts of things in. So another button has to be used. (saves remote space by dual purpose?)
You would be surprised in what you see now a days in some remotes.
We got a small TV at work here for a display. It has a coax input, so you could hook an areal for digital channels to actually tune channels on it.... BUT.. the remote? It literally just has the smart features, volume, the arrow and OK key. The ONLY channel change thing is a +/-. There is no numeric keypad, etc..
I was wondering if there was a way to navigate back a few hours to watch a show (that has the restart feature) that I missed. For example, Power and Politics airs from 5-7 ET and can be restarted anytime during then, however, if it's past 7 I am unable to scroll back in the guide prior to 7pm restart it. Is there some kind of button combination. I tried pressing rewind in the guide to go back a previous day but it does nothing.
@zoolander07 You cannot go back a few hours in the Guide to find recently-aired episodes but you can accomplish the same thing using voice commands: Press and hold the Microphone button and say, "Power and Politics"
This will bring up the show's main screen. Recently-aired episodes can be found under "Watch Now". You can also select "Episodes" to find episodes that can be viewed on-demand (or on streaming services) as well as upcoming episodes that you can record later.
If a show is airing again at a later time on that same channel, or sometimes on a time-shifted channel, if you click Info/i on that time slot, it may have a "Watch Now" option that you can select to view that episode.
My remote doesn't have ff or rr buttons. Where do I find them or is there another way to change days?
On the Ignite XR15 remote, the Rewind and FF buttons are located to the left and right of the Play/Pause button.
Rogers needs to have a complete manual to show ALL features. The probem with rogers is their designers is that they don't give a dam about the customer.
example. I was conned into self install. I then found that my older android smart phone could not download the smart app. After finally contacting google I discovered that if you device, such as my old device, will not use the app they do not allow you to down load it. One CS Agent told me that was not correct but GOOGLE disagrees.
Who is right The agent who know nothing, the engineer designer who did not consider this or the CUSTOMER who pays the bills for Rogers ???????
