CNBC World rather than the US Feed?

bcrownz
I've been here awhile

I'm in Ottawa using Ignite... this morning I noticed that CNBC (channel 79) is broadcasting CNBC world rather than the US feed... Is this a permanent change or some type of issue this morning?

Re: CNBC World rather than the US Feed?

Hello, Community

We appreciate you all posting your concerns about the recent changes to the broadcasting of CNBC in Canada.

I can understand how much of an inconvenience this has become for many of you. Due to content rights, CNBC viewers in Canada will have access to CNBC World for the duration of the Olympics.

CNBC World here in New-Brunswick too. I appreciate the upgrade, glad I kept that channel rather than flex it. I'll probably watch it when I can, Hope it's permanent. Of course, having both channel would be the best option...

Re: CNBC World rather than the US Feed?

This is a big problem.  World feed is not particularly helpful.

Re: CNBC World rather than the US Feed?

Does any one know what’s going on with this
World is useless

In the GTA....channel 79 is showing CNBC World...not the Live version.  has anyone received feedback from Tech Suport? CNBC World is of no use really!!

Same here in Stratford, ON. Only cnbc world.
If we are loosing CNBC regular shows I will dump rogers

Thank you. I subscribe to CNBC, and want the US channel, not the CNBC World. I will cancel my subscription if they don’t return to CNBC USA feed soon.

Rogers.....can you folks please put the CNBC US Feed back on ASAP (Channel 79 and 111).  CNBC World that is currently being broadcast is of no value!

Guide has been updated with World content until 8/2 6am when Squawk Box and other usual programming apparently resumes (unless they update it again).  World is useless content, if this is permanent I might as well cancel and watch the VPN streams.

An update from Rogers would be appreciated. Clearly this is a major issue for many Rogers customers!!!

Apparently Bell subscribers are experiencing the same content. Because NBC has the rights to Olympic coverage, we aren't getting the CNBC feed in Canada. Must be use some resources....

Seriously, why that channel is so important to you?, why all the complain for a little issue, it’s not like it’s permanent or anything… Does Canadian have really become that picky and US-centric.

Have you ever think that the issue can be from the source of the feed and have nothing to do with Rogers. Maybe a little research before start bashing Rogers all the time…

Personally I think the best solution would be to have both feed on 2 different channels, I would subscribe to both.

In the meantime, you can always check CNBC’s website or go watch BNN Bloomberg.

It has to do with NBC having the rights to the Olympic games coverage. They must be using CNBC resources

You apparently don't invest in US stocks. BNN is limited in US coverage
