CBC Gem app on Ignite TV?

Noticed today that CBC Gem was not included in the supported streaming apps on Ignite TV. Just keep seeing ads for the new show Belgravia and this appears to be the only way to watch it. Guess I'll stream on my laptop for now, but wish I could watch on TV. Hope CBC Gem is added to Ignite TV streaming apps soon.

Rogers does not develop apps, not does it really own the platform the apps run on.

Ignite is Roger's trade name for the X1 platform from American cable firm Comcast. It's similar to Android or iOS for phones.

If CBC wants GEM on the X1 platform, it would have to develop the app and probably would have to approach Comcast for distribution.

As a Canadian company, Rogers should make every effort to include CBC's Gem as an option on Ignite TV. If Rogers can offer Bell Media's Crave among its apps, it can surely effect the inclusion of Gem among our viewing options.

I completely agree....just switched to Ignite only to discover that I nor longer have Gem...not happy.
