Bug Riddled Web Portal

I've Been Here Awhile

As a Roger's Ignite customer for only 2 days and as a web developer with over 20 years experience, I cannot believe the bugs that I'm seeing in the Roger's web portal.  Trying to execute a simple function like "Exchange Flex Channels", when the link is clicked an empty Roger's page comes back and, after about a minute, the "Technical Error" panel is displayed:

This message means nothing to the end user and only causes frustration.  After clearing cache, trying multiple browers and even different computers, the same error message persists every time.  Chat operators were unable to help.  In googling he problem, I'm seeing customers encountering this identical problem since 2019! ... and it still isn't fixed!

 

This is inexcusable for a corporate web portal like Rogers.

Thank you for the bug report @pslwilson8! It seems like a current trend across all software related industries that errors aren't as detailed as they once were. Seeing the error "Something went wrong!" without any additional info has become a real pet peeve of mine. 

 

I would like to escalate this through the proper channels to ensure that it gets looked at.

After the user has made changes to his/her flex channels, there appears to be a time delay up to several hours before the changes or "work order" is complete.  During that wait time, it appears the "technical error" panel appears if the user attempts to click on the "Exchange flex channels" link before the work order from the previous change has completed.  I also noticed the "live chat" link on the "technical error" panel does not work.
