You can use the Call Forward feature to only forward calls that get a busy signal.

Call Forward busy calls

  1. Pick up your phone and dial *90.
  2. Enter the 10-digit phone number to which you want your calls forwarded.

Note: If you forward your calls to a telephone number outside your local calling area, the usual long distance charges will be billed to your account if the call is answered at that number. You will also need to enter the number 1 before dialing the number you are forwarding to.

  3. The call will ring through to the number you want to forward to.
  4. You need to accept the call (if forwarding to a cell phone) or a person needs to pick up (if forwarding to a landline). Once this happens, you will need to stay on the line for a minimum of five seconds or the Call Forwarding won’t be activated.
  5. Calls will now be forwarded to another number when your phone line is busy.

If the number you want to forward to is busy or there is no answer or you can't pick up:

  1. Pick up your phone and dial *90 again.
  2. Redial the phone number to which you want your calls forwarded.
  3. You will hear two beeps, confirming that Call Forward is activated.
  4. Hang up your phone.

Turn off Call Forwarding for busy calls

  1. Dial *91. You will hear a confirmation tone.
    2. Hang up your phone.

Incoming calls will no longer be forwarded when your line is busy.

Note:

  • Only one call can be forwarded at a time. While the line is being used to forward, any other caller will get a busy signal.
  • Call Forwarding can only be used to forward calls to Canadian and US numbers.
