We wanted to remind baseball fans that, prior to the season, the MLB awarded exclusive broadcast rights of 25 regular season games, from across the MLB, to Facebook.
As part of this deal, each team could see up to 4 of their weekday afternoon games streamed exclusively on the social network. The third Blue Jays game to be impacted by this decision has been announced and it takes place this week.
Be advised that the following game will not be available on television or through any other streaming service in Canada or the US:
June 20, 2018 (12 :37 PM. ET) – Atlanta Braves vs. Toronto Blue Jays
Sportsnet is not going to broadcast this game on television or stream it through Sportsnet NOW, or Rogers Anyplace TV. It will not be available on TV or MLB Extra Innings within the Super Sports Pak.
Please note that the game will not be available on any other platforms, including MLB.tv or MLB at Bat.
Sportsnet will continue to deliver this game on the Sportsnet Radio Network, including on Sportsnet 590 The FAN, Sportsnet 960 The FAN and Sportsnet 650.
We’ll provide further updates if another game is announced by the Major League.
If you want to see these games or provide feedback on the league’s decision, visit MLB.com or contact MLB at firstname.lastname@example.org.
