Starting August 13, 2019, Ignite TV customers can add their monthly Netflix subscription charge to their Rogers bill!


Netflix Rogers Billing is eligible to the following:

  • Rogers customers with accounts that include post-paid wireless services
  • New Netflix subscribers or current subscribers that cancelled their subscription for at least 1 billing cycle.

Adding your monthly Netflix subscription charge to your Rogers bill lets you experience all of the great programming that you normally would with Netflix. You can watch award-winning TV shows, documentaries, movies and more! You can do all of this without the need to charge the fee to your credit card.


To subscribe to Netflix Rogers Billing, you need to create or reactivate your Netflix account by signing in to MyRogers:

  1. Sign in to MyRogers
  2. From the Overview screen, scroll down to the Add More Services section and click Netflix ‘Let’s Go’.
  3. Review and accept the Terms and Conditions to continue. You’ll be directed to
  4. Complete the sign-up process for your Netflix account.

If you’re an existing Netflix subscriber, you will need to temporarily cancel your Netflix subscription for 1 billing cycle (payment date). Once your Netflix subscription is cancelled, wait until 7 days after what the next scheduled payment would have been on your cancelled Netflix subscription (your billing cycle date), and then sign up for Netflix Rogers Billing in MyRogers to be eligible.


You should still contact Netflix for support for technical issues or promotions.

Interesting idea.


Other than having all my media billing in one place on Rogers bill, personally I am not sure why I would want to have it tied to me having post-paid wireless. Plus reviewing what is necessary on timing of adding it, temporarily cancelling it on Netflix account billing, and visa versa, say if I want to drop my wireless and go elsewhere, it sounds like to much work to me.  But then again, I like to keep things simple.  I see my Rogers bill and pay it when it comes, either by auto payment, or sometimes switch to paying online.


I see the Netflix bill, or my Amazon Prime Bill, and make decisions to turn these on and off as I choose and have it all nailed down.  I cancel temporarily, come back when I want to, like for a month when my friends suggest things to watch, finish them in a binge watch and cancel out again.  And I don't have to time any of this with Rogers services, if I decide that I want to switch.  Plus, I charge them to my credit card, and I am ok with that.


So for those who are interested, and so inclined, it is great that the steps of temporary cancelling of the account to keep your history on Netflix, and timing of putting it on your bill, are clearly articulated and the help document is very clear on what happens when you make the move to the Rogers billing of Netflix and how to do it, and what needs to be done if you want to drop the integrated billing of netflix, or cancel your Rogers Account.


It may be of interest to some, but for me, just sounds like another hurdle to easy choice and switching of my range of services.


Correct me if I am wrong, but couldn't we assign it to the Rogers bill for a couple of years now with no requirements of other services?  I see on the current help page for this it is dated March 21st, 2019, so guess requirements came in place then.

It does not work your above process through MyRogers to include Netflix charge to Rogers bill. You need to fix it.
