We’d like to discuss the importance of our Accepted Solutions and how adding accepted solutions to a thread is beneficial to the entire community!
We all come to the Rogers Community Forums in hopes of seeking out answers or solutions to problems that we are facing. These may have to do with our products and services, or maybe we have a concern with our billing or a question on how a process or policy works! Whatever the case, we want to find the answer as quickly and efficiently as possible. By marking a post as an ‘Accepted Solution, this ensures that:
Please remember, when you post a new thread in the community, you become the author of that thread. It is important and appreciated by all community members if you remember to mark a post as resolved by hitting the Accepted Solution button once your question or issue has been resolved. Not only is it helpful to other users who may be having the same problem, but it is also a friendly acknowledgement to the user who provided the help!
Over the next few weeks some of our super users may notice they are getting emails about their posts being accepted as solutions. Please do not be alarmed by this as we are trying to ensure all potential solutions have been tagged.
If you preferred not to receive these notifications you can turn off these notifications yourself by going into your Profile settings, navigate to Subscriptions & Notifications, then Notification Settings, scroll down to the Email Notifications section, and remove the check mark from the box to the right of Accepted solutions to topics or questions I subscribe to.
