Hi there, I was in at the Rogers store last week to upgrade to the new Galaxy 3 which is amazing :)..but when I was in there I asked about the cell coverage and if Rogers was planning on expanding in Saskatchewan. He told me that a recent court case was being finished and that Rogers was going to be active on all Sasktel towers which would be HUGE coverage. I am just wanting to see if this was actually true or if anyone knows more?

Just wondering if Rogers can give any reason on why they are neglecting Saskatchewan? Are there any plans on updating coverage? And not just little blotches of LTE in just 2 cities. I'm sure Prince Albert would enjoy more coverage.
We find it very frustrating traveling through Saskatewan between our home in Manitoba and our home in Alberta. Rogers is non exsitant or so slow it impossible to even check out a hotel room. Will this be changing or am I looking for an alternative?
I guess they don't call it "The Gap" for nothing...
Does anyone know if there are any proposed agreements between Rogers and Sasktel and/or Telus?
I find it particularily infuriating that at almost the exact moment I hit the MB/Sask border, I drop to a crappy Edge network with very little service.
According to the MTS coverage maps, they have HSPA in most of Sask? So how is it that Rogers has a gaping hole in the middle of the country?
It's 2013 and time to start playing nice in the sandbox.
well now we know that they did buy some spectrum in Saskatchewan even if its 12MHz of C block. What i would like to know is what is the difference in the blocks? and when will they be using this?
