Couldn't send text message



I try to send text message by using my PAY AS YOU GO phone (LG neon2), but always on "waiting" or "failed". I'm ok to receive the SMS. I checked the message centre which stored my correct cell phone#.


Can anyone kindly help me figure it out why - Rogers' problem or phone problem?

Hello liecho,


You mentioned in your post that message center displayed your cell phone number.  Could you please update it to +17057969300 and try again to send the message.  That should fix the problem.

I have a similar problem but my phone doesnt even receive messages.

in settings / apllications under messaging make sure SMS centre number is +1705769300 , if is not that number, change it to that number.

- also go to settings/system under APN ...make sure the inputs are correct. Click on Edit APN..this will show you the config . The proper config for Ontario is-

Rogers Core APN Settings

The settings are to be programed to a wireless smartphone or iPhone device for data functionality on the Rogers Wireless Network.










Note: For Android smartphones, input the following MMS settings to ensure MMS functionality.

MMS Port
