rogersondemand.com

when I try to stream a tv video, all I get is a black screen in the video area.  I'm running W8 on a hp laptop.  My browser is Firefox

Interestingly, if I do it on my W7 desktop it works flawlessly

Hello Navkan

Have you tried another browser on your Windows 8 system? If not, try and see if it shows a picture and what not.

Hello Navkan

My only solution is that they have not updated the site for windows 8. I will got home and check on my windows 8 laptop and see what it does.

Re: rogersondemand.com

Which environment in win8 are you trying to view it in?

I dont think it works in the RT/Metro environment.. but should work via the 7 desktop environment.

Windows 8 pro, IE10, on the desktop environment, appears to play fine.

Re: rogersondemand.com

Works fine on my Metro IE10 tablet.  I use it instead of the half-baked app Rogers provides.

Re: rogersondemand.com

you guys are lucky.  I just ran rogersondemand.com from IE desktop (again) with the same result-black screen when I try to stream a TV video.  Must be a laptop problem

Re: rogersondemand.com

I'd suggest uninstalling and reinstallng flash first.
