Great News!
Starting at noon on Wednesday September 9th, customers will be able to remotely manage their PVR via a link on RapTV.
Customers will need to log into http://www.rogersanyplacetv.com using their Rogers.com profile. The Manage PVR link appears in the top nav. Clicking it will launch the rPVR site.
Customers who do not have cable TV will not see the link upon logging in. If you have cable, but are unable to see the link, you may need to re-login.
Thank you all for your patience as we worked to make this feature accessible.

Unfortunatly, I'm going to have to break up the lovefest but.....
...what happened to the 'manage my PVR' option under the TV service tab?
I'm not part of the 'iCrowd' so the app is not an option. Is it still in development? Or will remote managent of the PVR be exclusivly for Apple owners now?

I agree with Lurker. The ability to view the guide and manage your PVR is no longer an option when you view your TV services. If it is still under development as suggested by Lurker, why did Rogers even think to introduce this change? Have we not already seen enough changes introduced to MyRogers before all of the features could be fully implemented? Yet another example of Rogers implementing a change that is really not as functional as it should be!

Agreed! I cannot find it either. Why does Rogers do this? They implement a change when it is not ready to be implemented! I suggest they go back to the older format (actually not that old) until the bugs have been fixed with the new format!

Everything has been drastically changed, and it seems not for the better.First of all, when I log into My Rogers now, I have to choose between my cable and my paygo account. When I choose paygo, I can no longer seem my call transaction history like I did before, only my balance and expiry date. When I go back and choose my cable account and then TV, it's worse. I'm getting this:

You nailed it! It's totally irresponsible to mess up an interface that has been working just to accommodate the smartphone crowd without ensuring that it doesn't hamper computer users. We were here first. Each time I have to log in again I have to choose between two account numbers, one of which is my cable and the other my PayGo, I believe, not that I would know those numbers off the top of my head. What has that got anything to do with this forum? I then have to hunt around looking for this forum. Sure hope this gets straightened out soon.

I have still not read anything on here or anywhere else where Rogers has even admitted that the ability to manage your PVR through MyRogers has been removed (even if inadvertent). This is very disconcerting. So perhaps an answer from someone at Rogers would be in order!

What is even more important are the features that are no longer included. As mentioned by others above (Hiro11 and matthews65), where is the ability to manage my PVR online? The on-line guide is no longer there and we cannot access our PVR and schedule recordings or any other function we had in the past.
If this is what Rogers call a makeover, I would suggest Rogers go back to what actually worked (most of the time) a few days ago. This new MyRogers page is the sorriest excuse for an account page that I have ever seen!

I spent like an hour combing through some old threads.. that i remember seeing some direct links to the thing which kind of worked..
BUT they dont work now 😛 as they were a re-direct part of another page which doenst exist anymore.
I am wondering if thats something a rogers rep could find out.. if there is a direct URL that can be posted here and used in the meantime?

So does anyone here or anyone at Rogers have any information as to when the ability to manage your PVR remotely from your computer will be restored? This is a really important function and we have now gone a week without it being available. When you take into the account the numerous other issues created with the new MyRogers, is it not about time that Rogers finally admits that the new site is not working and reverts back to the previous site until such time as the kinks are ironed out!

@JohhnyRockets , The two items I've has trouble with is my PayGo call listing and I also can't get the Manage PVR. The former comes up about half the time when I look for it. As for managing my PVR, I've never had to use it because I don't use a lot of smartphone apps and if I'm in front of the TV with my laptop, I just do it on the TV.

We usually program our PVR using the TV. However, we also travel a lot and often program our PVR remotely through our laptop computer through MyRogers. We also use this function to check to see that our programmed shows have recorded properly because with the 9865 PVR, there is never any guarantee that it actually works properly! LOL! Thanks to Rogers, this function no longer is available on MyRogers!
