iPos loses WiFi connection when someone is using my cordless phone

My iPod works fine when surfing the Internet, but as soon as somone uses my cordless phone, suddenly I can't connect to the Internet. I have a wireless router and as far as I can tell, it's hooked up properly. I have a home computer hooked up to it.

What other info do you need from me as far as how I have it hooked up?

Re: iPos loses WiFi connection when someone is using my cordless phone

The problem sounds like your cordless phone and your wifi are using the same frequency. This should be easy to change.

If you can log into the wireless router's admin page, usually http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 in the wireless setting you should be able to change which 'channel' the wireless is operating on. Change this to another one and try to see if the problem occurs again. If it does change it again. You should be able to find one that works with your phone going as well.
