Re: iPhone update 4.2.1 causing possible issues on network

I just downloaded and installed 4.3 - still having the same issue. 3G service is great downtown, but once you leave the core of Ottawa, it disappears altogether. Tired of having to use my phone on EDGE. Please, Rogers, fix this.

Re: iPhone update 4.2.1 causing possible issues on network

If anybody tells you that it's your device or the OS version, they're full of BS.  It's the overloading of the Rogers network.  Period.  I've had an iphone since Rogers came out with one 3 years ago.  It's network has gotten more and more overloaded each year until it is barely usable now.

If you try to use it at 3 in the morning, it's probably fine because it's not being used.  This proves it's not the device or the OS.  I visited a friend in NS last week and got great speeds all the time in the middle of nowhere.  In Ottawa, I get 5 bars and 1 second+ lag and 0 throughput.   Rogers needs to add more capacity ASAP!
