iOS 8.2 Released Today

The title says it all. This release is mostly about supporting the Apple Watch. If you have an iPhone 4S, iOS 8.2 will work, but there's no support for the Apple Watch. You need an iPhone 5 or better for Apple Watch support.

That is correct. Apple has released the 8.2 IOS update for the iPhone 4S,5, 5S, 5C, 6 and 6 Plus. As u mentioned you need to iPhone 5 or later in order to have watch support for it.

This update is mostly for the Apple Watch and a few other little things.

For anyone with a 4S, I've noticed a slight performance improvement with iOS 8.2, especially when returning to the default home screen and swiping between screens.
