blocking and unblocking texts

If you had your cell phone blocked from receiving all texts, and than removed the blocked texts later on, would the texts that were blocked show up at a later time? I hope not.

I sent a text to my cell phone that my spouse uses and meant to send it to my daughters phone. I had the texts blocked and waited till the evening and had them unblock the texts. Neither text came through I hope they do not. Bad thing is sometimes it can take hours for his texts to come in. 

Please let me know asap.

To my understanding, no they will not come in after.. they dont just sit there backloged, like an email would.
