I want to stop the giant advert on the right side of every email. I cannot print any email because this advert takes up 1/3 of the right side of the page.

Unfortunately there is no way to get rid of the adverts 😞
But to print, are you just going to the Print option in your web browser?
If you have the email itself open, then click on the MORE button, there should be a print option there.
That print, will pop up another window, free of adds, etc.

Actually, if you use a browser other than Internet Explorer such as Firefox or Chrome, it IS entirely possible to get rid of the advertisements. Both of these browsers have extensions such as Adblock and Adblock Plus and for email, the Webmail Ad Blocker is particularly good at eliminating all of the ads in your webmail.

Honestly Gdkitty, have you ever used the Webmail Ad Blocker? It not only eliminates the ads but also eliminates the empty space left behind by the other ad blockers. Your entire Webmail is left both ad free and space free to the right. There are no blank spaces - just an expanded Webmail to enjoy and view!

That is all fine and dandy and quite simple!
But ; are you receiving emails that are being
bunched together as "TITLE" (2) or (3) ?
The "more" option will only print LAST RECENT !
So whatever was sent prior to the most recet email
is being ignored and unable to print !
I had no control over that! It was automatically
bunched together, and now the "more" option printing
is "PRINT MOST RECENT"
No "PRINT" in that more options!
Who was the moron to dictate what we need to work
for us ? To bunch the emails? To have only Print most recent ?
What moron ?
The geeks do not think as customers, but in their limited mindset and expect
the populous to accept that !
What is the reason for bunching in the first place ?
What is the reason for not allowing Print and Print Most Recent ?
Rogers want so much control and are reaping repercussions and
dismay from complaining customers who want things simple!
Rogers idea of simple is CONFUSING, COMPLICATED, CHAOTIC,
FRUSTRATING, AGGRAVATING AND DISAPPOINTING ! These all apply to
Rogers "help" and "support" !
I want capability to print as if the single email, and not having Rogers sticking their nose into everything making it a mess and troublesome for the customer!
Their great IDEAS in IMPROVEMENT have proven disasters

Really the only blame on rogers here, can be that they choose to pair with Yahoo for the email.
It is YAHOO which creates the interface. The blame should be on them.
But they are really just following suit, with these 'converstation' style groupings on email.
Most phones have an option for this.
Most other clients (outlook, etc) all do the same thing as well.
Though, others may PRINT better.
Its designed so you can follow all things in the email chain, without having to potentially go back who knows how far, looking for individual emails.
But its not for everyone.
You should be able to turn it off though.
Click on the thing in the top right corner of your inbox, which says Sort by Date.
And make sure to Uncheck the Group by Conversations.

That may very well be so, but let's look at it in another frame of mind!
rogers may have paired with Yahoo, But Rogers has the capability to
discuss with Yahoo to add the option in the "more" pull down of Print
and Print Most Recent !
When I approached Internet techXpert, their excuses were as follows :
OOS out of scope, it's your OS, there's nothing we can do, etc, etc....
I'm the dummie and the techs and reps and Managers are the smart ones,
yet they haven't considered exploring that option! (They just don't think for
themselves) and ultimately the customer has the burdens of doing all their
troubleshooting for them! And they get paid, WE DO NOT !
