Xbox One Packet Loss

Please leave this as it's own thread.. It's different than the other guys problem.

I can't seem to get rid of this dumb packet loss. I was originally having a moderate NAT with 70 down 20 up 80 ping and 1% packet loss. I changed my xbox to the dmv host and now I have an open NAT but still have the packet loss. Is there any way I can get rid of this packet loss so I can actually play online? I'm hoping I can or I might as well sell my xbox

Can you log into your modem, navigate to STATUS....DOCSIS WAN, copy the downstream and upstream tables and paste them into this thread. 

 

What modem do you have, and, are you running wired or wireless?

So i have the CGN3ACSMR router and i normally play wireless because im in the basement but i was able to get wired to test and i still had the problem. I dont understand why this is a problem at all. Before the landlord upgraded this internet we had much worse internet with the DPC3825 router. I never had any problems with that aside from it being old and needed reset often. Our download and upload speeds were brutal compared to what they are now. With this new router i have forwarded the ports Microsoft told me to and made my xbox the DMZ host but it hasnt helped. I cant play more than half a game of anything before i get disconnected. Hopefully there is a fix since my landlord wont change. Thanks

I  am having the same problem as you. Ever since switching to the Rogers Ignite 100 i can't seem to stay connected to xbox live games anymore. Every EA games disconnects me from their servers after a game and my brother cant seem to play 2 consecutive COD AW games without getting kicked. Is this a Rogers Hitron router issue or what?

It seems this new CGN3ACSMR modem is causing problems for gaming. I get errors for the game League of Legends on the PC. This only started occuring after I changed to the new modem.

Ya it's unfortunate. I can't stay in any game servers for more than 10 minutes. The thing that confuses me is that this internet is so much better than the internet I used to have. Yet these problems

Hellp in the last couple of months I have not been able to play online games due to high packet loss and latency issues..Im using a ethernet connection,had a tech visit my house and checked everything and swapped modem and still having issues please help

clearly rogers isn't helping! There's something that's messes up and rogers and microsoft do not seem to communicate to try and resolve the issue. i have had this issue on and off for months and i can't it fixed. Switch to bell...their routers/modems seem to work much better with xbox live and gaming. it's sad that in this day and age paying as much as we do for internet in canada we cannot get a reliable provider...

yea I'm getting this also from what I heard @RogersDave and Rogers / Microsoft was looking for a fix but it's still is a on going issues

I was on the phone with a supervisor from Rogers yesterday. She said they are aware of the issue but couldn't give me a time frame as to when it will be fixed. Like I purchased the gig connection to play on Xbox and to get a 0.52 Mbps is just plain ridiculous.

I'm trying to get a hold of a PS4 and see if the issue is on there as well. As much as I'm an Xbox fan boy. I'm willing to switch if there is no issue on the PS4.

Just wondering if Rogers is ever going to address or at least admit there is one. The lag and connectivity is horrendous Between them Xbox and PlayStation. This is has been going on for months possibly years with no resolution. I just don't understand how they have thousands of people that play online gaming but refuse to do anything. Hopefully with this post I can get some answers instead of the run around.

Thank you for posting your concern in the Community. I understand how unpleasant the online gaming would be when there are connection issues. Based on the continuous feedback we are diligently working to improve the Internet experience. I suggest keeping an eye on the 2nd post of the Firmware Feedback thread where @RogersDave update the firmware versions and release notes. 

 

Do you know the firmware version of your modem? If it's running 2.0.10.24, I recommend rebooting so that it can acquire 2.0.10.26T2 which is more stable and you may find an overall improvement.
