Wide vs Normal Audio range

I notice no difference when I switch between Normal and Wide and was wondering if Rogers actually uses the wide range. When I switch to Narrow, there's a definite change, but not between Normal and Wide. I should note that my audio is going to my TV through HDMI and from the TV to my soundbar through digital optical. This converts the audio to PCM regardless weather I have the box set to Dolby Digital or Other.

Under your setup.. no in dont beleive it will

Under a full 5.1 setup.. i beleive it does change from DD5.1 to PCM 2.0 output.
