WiFi Problems with the Nexus 4

Hello,

Just curious if anyone else is having issues with connecting to wireless internet with their Nexus 4 (or other Nexus products)?  It says I'm connecting and occasionally works but then the signal bars go grey (from blue) and I can't use wireless anymore... but it still shows full strength (but in a different colour as I said).

Anybody else with this problem, and how did you fix it?

Thanks,
Justin

Re: WiFi Problems with the Nexus 4

My Nexus 4 appears to be working fine on my home WiFi networks.

What type of router do you have?

Hello JChampagne

What type of router & Modem are you using? Also have you tried doing a factory reset too see if that will fix the issue?

Re: WiFi Problems with the Nexus 4

I'm using the DPC3825...

My girlfriend's Nexus from last year has the same problems.  Both our WiFis worked at my dad's house in Montreal; I believe he's with Bell.

Thanks for the help

Re: WiFi Problems with the Nexus 4

Guess the Cisco gateway doesn't play nice with the Nexus WiFi chipset.

I've got a DLink router and I have no issues with the Nexus 4.  My One X did have problems with my Linksys router before I switched to the DLink, so it isn't completely out of the question for some phones to have problems with different routers.
