Voicemail Help

I got a new SIM caed for my phone, same phone, same number. When people call my phone my voicemail no longer clicks in, it now just ends the call. If I call my voicemail, dial one, or call my own number it still takes me to my voicemail account. Its only when others call my number that the voicemail doesn't acctually work. This must have something to do with my new SIM but I can't figure out how to fix it. I feel maybe I should de-activate and re-activate my voicemail but can't figure out any way to do that. Any help??

Re: Voicemail Help

Hello CMaeB,

If you try to call your line from an outside line do you also get a disconnect?  Have you tried to do a soft reset on the phone since the problem started?

To have the voicemail removed and readded you would need to speak with an agent, I would be able to help you with that process via PM if you'd like.

Thanks,

Re: Voicemail Help

Yes it is a disconnect from an ouside line, just rings then a quick beep and disconnect. If I call to speak with an agent may I do so from my own phone or do I have to call from an outside line?

Re: Voicemail Help

Would be best to do from an outside so you can test things on phone if they need you too 🙂

Re: Voicemail Help

My daughters phone is like that. She's never been able to hold down 1, to get voice mail. I had to program it into her contract list. It's says there is no number programmed into the Sim for voicemail, then prompts with a box to add one, but will not allow me to enter the number. I don't get how, out of 4 Sim cards, all from the same store, done at the same time, don't do the same thing.....
