Unable to connect to data package

I have just signed up on my pre paid account for the monthly data package, but am unable to connect to the internet on my samsung discover phone.  I have turned the wi fi off and the data on also chosen Rogers as my provider,  Any help is apprecited.

Have you entered the proper Rogers APN settings for it to connect on the Rogers network?

Thanks for your reply, I figured that that was the problem so now am trying to find out what the actual settings are.
