According  those owner in XDA,I found that Rogers, Telus, Bell and their subsidiaries are all getting the SGH-i337m variant.

it seems to be true.

hope they did not lock up the BL.

Hello xuelide

You are correct. The I9505 is the US version meanwhile the SGH-i337m is the Canadian version.

The bootloader is locked sadly.

meow....

the international version (excluding US) is I9505.........

US is getting the I337 (ATT)    M919 (T-Mobile)    I720 (Sprint)  ...etcetc....each US carrier will have different model #

All Canadian Carriers will be I337M

9500 is internation version without LTE
E300 is korean version

Hello Ambrosios

Here it shows the I9505 is Also available as Samsung SGH-i337 for AT&T.

In fact the Canadian model # is I337M

Honestly can not Samsung just stay with 2- 3 model numbers or none at all?

Samsung wants to but the carriers will ask for a custom one.

and the BL of ATT version seems unlocked by XDA . Hope somebody will do that to Canadian version too.

Was just on Samsung live chat and was told the S4 only supports up to 32GB microSD cards. The rep linked this for me:

http://www.samsung.com/ca/support/model/SGH-I337ZKATLS-techspecs

The Rogers site clearly states it's expandable up to 64GBs though....

Hello Canuck604

I can confirm the S4 can take a Sandisk 64GB card. Samsung & manufactures say up to 32GB but its really 64GB. I really doubt the S4 can ONLY take a 32GB SD cad as the S3 took a 64GB card & so does the Z10 & Q10 & a few other phones..

Since Rogers and AT&T use the same frequency, wouldnt they carry the same model of S4 like they have previously done with other models. I read somewhere that AT&T has the SGH-1337 model and not the international model 9500/9505. Can anyone confirm this as i seem to be reading conflicting information?

Also, would this mean that Telus and Bell would carry the GT-i9505?

Hello jayposer2000

Samsung Canada always puts M behind their numbers on the Canadian versions. The ATT model is the exact SAME model as the Canadian one.

Bell & Telus carry the SGH-1337M. Same Model as Rogers & ATT.

Pretty sure that the Rogers variant is NOT boot locked though.  16Gb flash though.. and Jellybean doesn't allow installing apps to external flash..

still, AT&T locked bootloader is a problem.. stick with the rogers one  the SGH-i337m.. picking mine up monday..

Hello joevoisin

Wrong. Samsung has updated the OS and you can now install apps on your SD Card. I did this with my S4 just last week. Also if you see, my post was from May. It's end of September now.

Yes that is correct. Canadian S4s have unlocked boot loaders meanwhile the ATT one is locked. Still does not make that big of a difference seeing as they are both the same models just difference one is unlocked BT and the other one has a locked BT.
