Stupid "temporary" cable strung low outside my house

Rogers has strung a dangerously low hanging temporary cable outside my house to a neighbour's cable box and Rogers won't replace it with the usual underground cable till next summer. Anyone know how to deal with this problem?

As for burrying it? They aren't going to do it now.. not really any company would.  Ground is getting too hard, wouldnt burry properly, etc.
That will have to wait for the spring.

As for it being low though, call back in and ask for another tech out, and have them hang it HIGHER if that will get it more to a safer height.
(if you are worried of something/someone catching it, etc.)

It's not too cold to bury a cable the usual 3 inches down these guys bury it.
