Why is my sms take so long to send (minutes) when i am not on wifi

Thank you for joining and posting your query in the Community. We need more details to identify the issue, like the phone make and model, since how long are you experiencing the problem etc.  Do you have an iPhone and using iMessage since you've mentioned WiFi?
