Saved information on phones sent for repair




I was wondering if anyone can answer my question . If you get technical support to help fix your phone , how much can they see in your cell or texts messages , is our info and on our cells private or can an out side course see everything on your cell, if so this is a major phia problem

If you are talking about sending your phone out get physicaly repaired.. and the phone is not wiped first..
There is always a chance that when they have the phone, if they are testing things and in say the texting screen.. that they would see the texts there, etc.

 

Usually, those sorts of jobs, will have rules, etc about privacy when they are hired that they need to sign off on.

I do IT for a company.. and had to when signing up.. that i have access to just about EVERY bit of info in the company.. so have to sign off that i will not use/abuse it.
