Hello there, Just wondering if there was a set date to open the reservation option for the Samsung Galaxy S4?

I think you missed something in my comment Max_distance, perhapse you should re-read it.

I was commenting on how people said "worst launch ever" and the point was they are wrong as it better than the S2 LTE launch as the S2 LTE was the bad launch that sucked.

Here is the situation....I am #605 on the waitlist and just called a Roger store and they have a few units available.  I am worried that while I am setting up the phone in store and my status suddenly changes to in progress (status may change anytime after 12pm?), then I will have 2 phones which I don't need.  What should I do? Cancel the pre-order first then pick up or pick-up the phone then cancel?

Also, if I go pick up today at store..am I still eligible for the $50 credit?

No the $50 credit is if you have to wait 21 days from launch 

Go into the store and get it. I doubt yours will ship today with you being #605 and even if it does you can just call the store it shipped to when it arrives and tell them you don't want it anymore

They refund the $40 when it ships, and you can just tell them that you don't want it. You won't be stuck with 2 phones

Benbar21 is correct. If the unit goes to "in progress" that is perfectly fine. Once the unit is "shipped" they refund the deposit. If you don't pickup the phone at Rogers (please be kind and tell them you don't want it, so they can resell it to someone else) you won't get charged for it.
