Samsung Galaxy S3 int'l works on Rogers?

Getting one shipped to me soon from a friend in Dubai. So will this new beast of a smartphone work on Rogers? what about other WSP in Canada?

You really have to be careful with this - generally the UTMS and likely even the LTE bands might be different from what we use in North America. Years ago I brought over some HTC HDs from Europe only to find out the 3G (UTMS) bands are different and the phones would only work on EDGE. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

It would be a shame to have this amazing phone and only able to use it at EDGE speeds.

The international version should support the required 2G/3G bands.

The int. version doesn't have LTE, so that's not an issue.

The int'l version will be the first to get any new updates. Plus the Exynos quad core *drool*

Meh, you know LTE eats through data like crazy. I have 3G/4G on my Nexus and it's fast enough. I'll skip the LTE.
