That is annoying! I'll try another stores. By the way, the phone is $749 outright + tax and NOT $799 just to confirm. I spoke with a business specialist this morning and he says that if Rogers Plus charges you $799 then call them at the spot and they will credit you back $50. That applies to business account though, not sure about regular consumer account. Thanks.

[small business customer] I reserved my phone a month ago and was #62 in queue. I was told I would get it on launch day, but that isn't the case. I was just told that my reservation will be "updated" on Monday and there is no ETA for my shipping/delivery. He said it is taking long because their reservation system had issues and it needed to be upgraded.

The Note 4 has a cool feature (which may not be enabled by default). If your S-Pen is far away from your phone, your phone will give out an alert. This is so you don't accidentally forget it behind.

Ok so i went to Rogers to get my phone as they had extra but i had to cancel my business reservation first. Unfortuneately it had shipped 6 minutes before i called so it was no longer able to be canceled. Sigh.... ill have to wait for delivery.now.

Lesson learned is not to use rogers reservation system again. maybe for iphones but for samsung inventory never seems to be a problem.

As a side note, not all Rogers reps are unhelpful or clueless. Marco at the Pacific Centre Mall in Vancouver was super helpful and totally appreciative of my situation. Very nice to experience treatment from a great rep!

For all of you lucky ones with the Note 4, do we get the same deal as our American friends with a 50% off coupon for accessories when you register the phone with samsung? They are all getting the spare battery and charger for 22 bucks.

Unfortunately no Canadian carrier is getting that deal. That deal was made via Samsung US and the American carriers.

Finally got my Note 4 this morning. Price Match + 5700 rewards points came in the clutch 🙂 

They tried the whole change plan thing again, but told them to look at a previous interaction number where a rep told me over the phone that i could keep my plan. All was settled after that.

Took a while because we had to go through the price match process and me showing proof that Bell and Telus sells it at $299.95 & $300 respectively. 

Since I've been able to play with it for the past 4 hours, and oh my god. Beautiful screen. I have to get used to the side buttons again after using the G3 for the last 2 months. And no on-screen button had me confused a few times as I kept forgetting that the Note doesn't have that.

I love almost everything about the phone -- but Touchwiz man... what an ugly layout/design. I know many have complained about it, so I'm just singing an old tune here, but dmn touchwiz. If only Samsung could make it at least prettier/slicker/ or closer to stock Android. But alas. And the fact that they won't even make that much aestetic changes to the layout design with Lollipop coming out soon saddens me.
