Rogers on Demand

Rogers on Demand, Channel 100, will not load.  It says, "not available at this time".  Why?  Anyone having the same problem or know of a solution?

Actually it says, "unable to browse the selected destination"

Is this a new box or one that has been in place before?
Have you tried rebooting it?

tried it.  Didn't work,  Geting error message code #835MC

Using Nextbox.  

 

Called for re-authorization:  nothing

called back and spoke with tech - rebooted for the 3rd time: nothing

 

gave up and tried to watch "Shaun of the Dead" on IFC.  Started off fine, but then screen went blank and said it was "not available  at this time" 

 

I gave up trying to watch tv.  Over $100/month seems wasted. 😞

 

Next day  - I just checked.  It's working now.  Tech said he would put in a request to fix it remotely.  I guess it worked.  But I don't want to watch tv now.  Let's see if it works tonight.

There are 3 different nextboxes 🙂
The more info can help troubleshoot.. Only reason why I'm asking.

Could be whatever they did back end has fixed it.
If not though, that you got a not available on a reg channel too, might be signal related.
While you may not have changed anything, could be something's has just worn out.
Getting a tech out might be worth it. Would be free
